Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of Byron Thomas, D.O. to its medical staff. Dr. Thomas was born and raised in Letcher County; a graduate of Whitesburg Elementary and High School, Morehead State University, Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Norton Community Hospital Dr. Thomas is the son of Delano and Susan Thomas of Whitesburg and presently is providing medical services at MCHC’s Whitesburg Medical Clinic.

Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation is also pleased to announce the addition of Mediatrix Mbamalu M.D. (Dr. Mediatrix) to its medical staff. Dr. Mediatrix received her Medial Doctorate from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.  She completed her Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee in June 2011. Dr. Mediatrix is presently providing pediatric medical services at MCHC’s Whitesburg Medical / Dental Clinic.
